SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITY

Sabrina had been approved for housing, but having a place to live and having a home are two very different things. Imagine standing in an empty house with six children depending on you. No furniture. No beds for your children to sleep in. Very little to call your own. And wondering how you're going to do it all alone.

That's when Sabrina found FOCUS.

​

Through our Food Pantry, Emergency Services, Celebrate Recovery, and gifts of furniture, clothing, and household necessities, Sabrina began finding the support she needed to build a new life for her family.

But what she found went far beyond material things.

She found people.

​

People who knew her name. People who listened. People who prayed. People who kept showing up.

What began as help with immediate needs became something much greater, a community of people walking alongside her.

Sabrina describes her journey this way: “What started as a frightening move has become a new chapter filled with hope, stability and a growing village.” And that is what FOCUS is all about.

We believe ministry isn't simply about meeting a need today. It's about building relationships, restoring dignity, and reminding our neighbors that they don't have to face life's challenges alone.

Because sometimes, the greatest gift we can give someone isn't what we put in their hands. It's knowing they have people standing beside them.
